Tri City Trashed from Orange County. Picked this up at a show we played together with them for Drain Bramaged's DecemBEER fest. Out the bands I did see, these guys were good. So I got their CD. Now I am posting it a few years later. The drummer is brothers with Scotch from Drain Bramage, and I've met him a few times prior to hearing his band. He played in two that night, but this was his better of the two bands. Check it Out

HIT BY A SEMI - Friends, Booze and Tattoos

Here is HIT BY A SEMI from Chico, CA. Our singer in the Heathens ,Brian, was friends with these guys and got us to play a few shows with them. Back when I was pretty much living day to day figuring out how I was going to get fucked up. My brother was only 15 at the time, getting way to drunk for being a minor just to hit on girls by telling them he was only 15. He soon learned that wasn't the best way hook up with girls in a bar. They got their name from their bassist, who was literally hit by a semi when he was 13. Very catchy punk rock n roll anthems. A good soundtrack for boozed up times. Check it out

K.I.L - DEMO
This is one of the Desert's finest! K.I.L formerly known as KILDOZER. Working class drunk punk. I used to work with Paul (lead vocals/bassist) and Davey (lead vocals/ guitar) doing concrete and framing. These guys literally would write songs during their lunch breaks. Those were great times. Dirtbag even had Paul doing double duties playing bass with us for a short while. I remember Davey showing up to a show once with our other buddy that worked with us, Pifer, demanding everyone to get fucked up at a local show at the Trilogy Theatre. Force feeding Heinekin down everyboy's throat! Good punk to drink to with your friends. They have a full length available now and you can buy it here!

The Punk scene is a fucking Mess!

I have a hard time understanding what Punk Rock is nowadays, and I'm too full of pride to accept any band as a punk band just because they"meet the criteria" (i.e. distorted guitars and studded belts etc.) I'm just an old fucker who still believes Punk is a way of life. When I find a band that fits what my interpretation of Punk Rock is, I get amped and want to shove it into everyone's face. Chaotic Mess is one of those bands. Their music is spawned from "The Life". You can break shit to it, it makes people nervous, and will probably help you skate better. Oh, and don't let the name fool you, they kill it. The last gig I saw them play had punx pulling their teeth out, vomiting, and the pussies running for cover. Perfect. Some label them as a skate band, if so, they hold their own to any of my favorites. Fuck what I think though, I asked them ugly fucks a few questions. - Badger

I was youtubing it stoned and ran across this. Reminded me a litte of when I saw them the same year in Long Beach with Drain Bramaged. It was a good show except for the fact they cut Gang Green set short. But the 15 minutes they had were fucking worth it!!!

CAUSTIC UPROAR - In It For Life

Here is CAUSTIC UPROAR's final release Recorded by Dirty from Wanted Dead in October of 2007. I recently received a care package from Badger (guitar and lead vocals on all previous recordings) that came with copies of this album and shirts. When I lived in the North San Diego County area we would play together all the time. Since I moved to California Mojave Desert I haven't been up to date with the scene in that area as much and missed out on picking this release earlier. Since their is no distributor for them, done completley DIY, you have to get it directly from the band. This is a great fucking punk album from start to finish!!!!! The riffs, the vocals, the fuckin attitude is all there for the makings of one the best punk albums of the 2000's. These guys are punks playing music for the punks and damn proud of it! Check it out!!!

Found this over a new cool blog "Rat Shit Sandwich"! This was the very first Litmus Green album I ever had. Lost if over the years, so thank you Rat Shit Sandwich. CAUSTIC UPROAR - demo

Caustic Uproar hailing from Vista , CA! First met these dudes when I was playing drums in North Counties "The Heathens". My buddy Adam and I were buying some cheap ass budweiser shirts at this Shirt Outlet when we ran into their singer Badger. Rolled over to us in his pickup with fliers for a show they were doing in Oceanside and introduced himself. Later that evening our band went to start practice at Goblin Studios in San Marcos. Turns out Caustic Uproar was practicing in the space right next to us. Right after that the shows together starting happening. These guys played their hearts out with every fucking riff and beat! Yelling in the mic with such fucking passion for the shit he has to say! Anyone who has seen em knows what the fuck I'm talking about. This is their second demo they recorded..still trying to locate their first.

KILL CITY - s/t

This band has been around a while with a few lineup changes, but always fronted by this kid Sean.They have a for sure old hardcore sound and the songs have sped up from when I originally saw them back 2004. Kill City seem to be one of those bands that lays low for little periods, then out of no where is fucking it up again. Kill CIty started playing when everyone seemed to be doing the generic street punk clone bands. Way stoked when I first heard these guys and to know we were having a show soon right after. You can get this at brainconstipation records ....it's a limited edition tape. I don't believe they have many left. If you like...try and get one before they're no more.
